Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the mobile apps and to the written-exam practice site:
- Egzamin Informatyk (Android and iOS,
com.egzamin.informatyk), - Egzamin Logistyk (Android and iOS,
com.egzamin.logistyk), - Egzamin Ekonom (Android and iOS,
com.egzamin.ekonom).
1. Controller
The apps and the website are provided by Kamil Czacharowski. They do not require a user account. The website runs a live game and, for the length of that game, keeps the nickname a participant chooses in server memory.
2. What data do we collect?
There are no accounts, and we do not ask for an email address or phone number. Question practice stays on the device. A live game is the exception: the nickname and the score for that game are sent to the website server, shown to the people in the same game, and deleted within three hours of the game being created. They are not written to a database.
The Android versions send app-usage data to Google Firebase Analytics: app opens, sessions, app version, and device model. This does not include your name, email address, or the content of your answers.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics: the page address, approximate location, browser, and device. These statistics do not include your name, email address, or the content of your answers. In the European Economic Area, analytics cookies stay off until you accept the Google consent message.
3. Data stored only on your device
The apps may store information locally on your device (for example via AsyncStorage) needed for study features, including:
- saved favourite questions,
- history / list of incorrect answers,
- results of completed tests,
- whether the Pro version has been purchased.
This data stays on your device. You can delete it by clearing the app’s storage in system settings or by uninstalling the app. During the six weeks before the written exam, the app may show a local reminder of the session. That notification stays on the phone and is not sent to a server.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob and AdSense)
The apps show ads through Google AdMob. Google may process technical data related to serving ads (for example advertising identifiers, device information, and ad interactions) under Google’s own privacy policy.
The website shows ads through Google AdSense. Google may store cookies and similar identifiers to serve an ad and measure its performance. In the European Economic Area, whether an ad is personalized depends on the choice made in Google’s consent message.
The apps request ads in a limited mode (non-personalized ads where configured). Google remains the advertising provider.
More information: Google Privacy Policy and AdMob privacy information. For site ads, see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
5. In-app purchases
The optional Pro version is a one-time purchase handled by the store the app was installed from (Google Play or the App Store). The store processes the payment. The developer does not receive your card number or other payment details.
After a successful purchase, the app stores only a local flag that Pro is active. Restoring a purchase asks the store for previous transactions tied to the store account.
6. Permissions
The apps use Internet access to load ads, to send usage statistics to Firebase Analytics on Android, to complete a store purchase, and to join a live game. They do not require location, contacts, camera, or microphone access.
7. Sharing
The developer does not sell user data. A live-game nickname is visible only to people in that game and stays on the website server until the game expires. Ad-related data and Android usage statistics are processed by Google (AdMob, AdSense, and Firebase Analytics). Payment data is processed by Google or Apple as the store operator.
8. Your choices
We do not keep a user database. You stop sharing a live-game nickname by leaving the game. It is removed from the server within three hours of the game being created. Other app data stays on the device, and you can delete it in system settings or by uninstalling. Advertising preferences are managed there as well (for example limiting ad personalization). Refunds are handled by the store where the purchase was made.
9. Children
The apps and the website are not directed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version will always be available at this URL. The last updated date appears at the top of this page.
